I created my pen name J Solomon Wise to model my spiritual insights and reflections after King Solomon, the legendary wise man of Biblical lore. Growing up in rural South Carolina and isolated as a teen, I had a great deal of time to think and reflect under the night stars on various aspects of life from a spiritual, and intellectual perspective. Growing up in a Christian household, my parents made certain I was rooted firmly in strong Christian principles. While I have had many mentors, my Mother, whom we affectionately called “Mama”, was the key mentor in my life.

Mama was the spiritual light of the family, and small community we lived in; and an active model of what being “Christlike” meant. She was the most caring, selfless, giving person; and the hardest working, strongest person I have ever known. When the Divine principles were poured into me to create “Keys To A Sacred Place”, Mama’s life was the model that provided the insights and perspectives I needed for personal understanding. My most fervent goal through my work is to ignite and quicken an inner critical spark within my audience to seek self-understanding and self-actualization. Further it is my hope you receive something vital that further nurtures and fulfills you to reach your full potential in life.
